Cartagena de Indias – International Film Festival

It is America’s oldest festival, the most important film event that the country hosts and the most prominent cultural event in the city of Cartagena. Likewise, it is developed in an extraordinary setting that contributes to the development of Latin American cinema.

The International Film Festival of Cartagena makes a sample of Colombian and Latin American cinema with the ultimate goal of strengthening the national and Latin American film industry and promotes awareness, diversity and national cultural identity. The festival audiovisual displays include: feature films and international films and videos with the specific objective of promoting and developing the film industry and to enable these important demonstrations of film production to be broadcasted as a contribution to the brotherhood between peoples and the recognition of cultural and audiovisual diversity. Also within the framework of the Festival, the Board and its Director looking to highlight the effort, quality and talent of the national television productions created the TV contest COLOMBIANA – TELEVISION AWARDS INDIA CATALINA, designed to reward the India Catalina statuette for outstanding achievements in domestic production.
The festival will take place from February 25th to March 5th and will present different films from different countries such as:
Brasil:

Argentina:
Amorosa Soledad, Director: Martin Carranza y Victoria Galardi
Acné, Director: Federico Veiroj
Una Semana Solos, Director: Celina Murga

Colombia:
