Brantford, September 9, 2009 ? The worldwide hit show BOWFIRE is thrilled
to announce a show at the Sanderson Centre in Brantford on October 15 as
part of the 2009 Canadian Tour.
As seen on Bravo!, an ensemble of world-renowned Canadian musicians takes
audiences on a spectacular journey that moves seamlessly from Classical,
to Jazz, to Bluegrass, to Maritimes Celtic, to Rock. BOWFIRE is a must-see
performance renowned as “the total string experience.”

Hailed as “enormously entertaining” by The Washington Post, BOWFIRE’s
unique combination of master musicians, choreography and vocals is
complemented by stunning design and backed by an equally gifted ensemble.
Created by acclaimed violinist and JUNO Award winner Lenny Solomon, and
Directed by Broadway’s Stafford Arima (Ragtime, Altar Boyz), BOWFIRE is a
fully staged theatrical event, earning standing ovations and repeat
bookings worldwide.
From the violin to the traditional fiddle to the exotic Chinese erhu,
BOWFIRE has been impressing audiences worldwide since forming in 2000 and
continues to do so with hundreds of live show dates since. BOWFIRE has
recorded 2 concert CD’s.  A concert was recorded in High Definition in May
2007 at Centre in the Square in Kitchener, Ontario, and has been shown as
an HD TV special “BOWFIRE Live” on PBS stations in the U.S., and as a

“BOWFIRE demonstrates what the violin and fiddle can do in the hands of
masters? an evening of show stopping hits strung together in glorious
sequence? awesome!”

than pretentious”
