Arizona’s first Barney’s New York Department Store to open at Scottsdale Fashion
Square
Barneys New York will open Oct. 15, 2009, anchoring the first wave of retailers
in the expansion of Scottsdale Fashion Square, 1.8 million square-foot retail destination
featuring more than 225 shops and restuarants. SFC currently features four department
stores, including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s and Dillard’s. Other retailers
include Kenneth Cole, 7 For All Mankind and an Aveda LIfestyle Salon.
Also opening on this date as part of the expansion are recently-announced new-to-market

Second Annual Arizona Restaurant Week Kicks off September 19 in Phoenix and Tucson
The second annual Arizona Restaurant Week is Arizona’s most highly anticipated culinary
event of the year and a must-attend for residents and visitors alike. Arizona Restaurant
Week is an exciting event developed to showcase the outstanding culinary scene throughout
the state of Arizona. Arizona Restaurant Week will include both the Phoenix Metro
and Tucson markets in 2009.
Guests of the event are able to partake in Arizona’s finest fare at a special discount
